IFTTT.com is a great place for beginners and seasoned pros to find ready-made recipes for automation that will reduce your daily typing and raise your weekly productivity.
One of my favorite recipes is “Thank New Twitter Follower”. There are a few of these, but essentially it does exactly what the name suggests. Shortly after you get a new follower a tweet is created that states “Hey @newfollowershandle, thanks for following me!”
